Standard Issue Pleasure Model

Originally formed in 2017, Standard Issue Pleasure Model takes inspiration from the 2010's-era neo-psychedelic revival of bands like Tame Impala, King Gizzard, and Thee Oh Sees; weaving a new sound that is all their own.

Since the release of their debut album, 2020, the band has garnered a fiery reputation for themselves in the Victoria music scene via high-octane live shows that never fail to impress. The spirited guitars and stunning vocals of Shea Morgan and Raine Balson are driven by the powerful precision of Ben DeCicco's drums and the pulsing grooves of Wilson Kyne's bass. 

Fresh off of their Summer 2025 tour across Canada, the band completed recording of their sophomore album, Tripsitter. Set to be released in the early Spring of 2026, Tripsitter is a meditation on psychedelic experiences, addiction, yearning, and self-discovery.
