Since forming in 2018, Standard Issue Pleasure Model have honed their craft with their psychedelic garage-rock, post-punk, post-rock, and grunge compositions. Talented and spirited musicians, they are a band to be reckoned with. Their live shows are electric, full of glam-grunge energy.
Named "Band of the Month" by the biggest alt-rock radio station in the region, 91.3 the Zone, Standard Issue Pleasure Model continues to punch above their weight; delivering passionate, fresh, and captivating performances.
From the hectic days of 2020 through to 2025, Standard Issue Pleasure Model have cemented themselves as fixtures in the independent rock scene in Victoria, BC, and across Vancouver Island.
