This four-piece from Moh’kins-tsis (Calgary, Alberta) arrives like a summer breeze. Front-person Tomi Nu’s warm vocals and confessional lyrics rely on the mellow soundscapes of Dave Genert’s lush guitar licks, Adam Haussecker’s buttery baselines, and the dreamy rhythms put down by percussionist Derek Haussecker. On their debut release, Bad Bodies deliver a healthy dose of tension and release that sits on a bed of chill vibes and simple melodies.
