Carmine

CARMINE is a band dedicated to excess. Blending shimmering, multi-layered synth hooks, decadent harmonies, and over-the-top outfits, Carmine is giving Canada’s alternative rock scene a glam-pop makeover. Dark, moody atmospheres collide with energetic pop hooks, while sultry, intimately vulnerable vocals give way to brash feminine rage and smeared red lipstick.

Carmine’s early demos caught the attention of producer Mike Noble (Hotel Mira), who has been a mentor throughout the creation of the band's upcoming EP. Their latest single, “I Don’t Wanna Be Friends,” earned them Band of the Month (May 2025) on the Zone radio in Victoria, Music BC’s spotlight of the week, and an ever-growing social media following.
