Sam Tudor is a songwriter from Gavin Lake, BC.
Over the years his musical project has expanded to include a large rotating cast of musicians. Jazz players join forces with synths, acoustic guitars and Eno inspired beats. What unifies the project is Tudor’s distinct voice: a melancholic narrator, leaning in close with confessional writing.
Tudor and his band have released three albums: The Modern New Year (2014) Quotidian Dream (2017) , and Two Half Words (2021). In 2024 he released his first EP, entitled Hidden Minute.
His music has received critical acclaim across Canada and beyond. Together the group has toured Japan, the US, England and Canada.
