Small Pleasures is a post-punk duo from Victoria.
The band is a fusion between Viny, originally from France and Canadian born Nevada Brown.
Inspired by early 80s dark-wave, their music blends fuzzed out bass backed by heavy drums and live triggered synths mixed with lofty vocal melodies. Created in 2023, their discography includes the LP Songs For Lovers (2025), EPs Limits (2024) and Small Pleasures (2023).
A sophomore album is coming in the fall of 2026, recorded by Colin Stewart at The Hive. To support each release, the duo toured Japan, France (a few times), played multiple shows and festivals across Canada and more recently, Germany and Austria. Following the release of their second album, the band is planning another tour for the fall.
