Trouble on the Outskirts

Trouble on the Outskirts began in the thralls of a smokey jazz club in downtown Victoria BC. The initial duo of guitarist (Max Mackrill) and drummer (Michael Tessier) began crafting songs by pulling inspiration from the likes of Sam Fender, Arkells and The Killers. They were soon joined by local talent including: bassist (Jared Sundberg), keyboardist (Erik Evans), and finally guitarist (Cole Senger), quickly expanding to establish their own unique sound. They lovingly called this identity “Twang Rock”.
