Wet Souls

The sound of the wind. A shiver in the night. Shadows hidden in the white noise from your childhood tv. Wet Souls is an eclectic garage band with too much heart for their own good (so it starts leaking out from their feet). Based out of Victoria, BC., members of the band include Dylan Cheshire (Guitar/Vocals), Austin Farr (drums), Kyle Lemay Congdon (Bass and Rhythm Guitar), and Matt Wiebe (Bass, Organ, and Rhythm Guitar).

Originating in Toronto’s DIY music scene, the band began cutting their teeth in dark lit cellars, basement parties, and their outdoor self-made music fest dubbed “Ranch-Stock” (Canadian Wakeboard Nation Championships). The boys sound hearkens back the reverb drenched surf rock of the mid 1960’s, while also pulling heavily from the neo-pych rock revival of the last decade. Since the turn of the decade, the boys have moved their head-quarters to Vancouver Island in order to be better conduits of nature and the ocean; channelling the essence of true surf rock to save a generation from oblivion.
