Wiles

This Vancouver quartet have quickly established themselves as a band to watch in the Vancouver indie scene. They’ve appeared on all of the city’s most notable DIY stages, performed at CiTR 101.9’s iconic Shindig battle of the bands, and have been featured in Exclaim!’s December issue and on Cups N Cakes Network. Wiles are a tight-knit, energetic force, and their debut EP “If You Can Hear Me Now You’re Not Far Enough Away” released January 10, 2025 via Good Stones Calm Water, showcases their signature synthesis of aughts indie sounds and Canadian folk songwriting. Wiles’ debut EP is alt-rock at its finest and a call for those who don’t have this band on their radar to tune in.
