Zoubi and the Sea

Zoubi sings from the soul, bringing a surge of emotion from little west coast islands to big city, Montreal. On stage, her performance flows from calm and gentle to a deep, ocean-like intensity. Zoubi plunges into the depths of raw human feeling before soothing us with her lighthearted demeanor. Although she stands strong as a solo performer, Zoubi often shares the stage with her band, “Zoubi and the Sea.” They have performed multiple BC festivals including Rifflandia 2016 and 2018, opened for Tara Lightfoot, Jesse Roper, Carmanah and Rising Appalachia.
