SHFESTIVAL Night Two - Traditional Balkan

SHFESTIVAL is a celebration of all things Balkan Shmalkan!This will be a 2 night, 3 day event.

Balkan Night will be June 13th, we will have a Serbian dance lesson followed by Balkan bands to keep your feet moving all night long.

- Denys Kinchev, a local Vancouverite, will open the night playing acoustic folk on his Balalaika.- Bucan Bucan from Victoria will light up the dancefloor their uproarious, and rambunctious folk.
- Sindikat Sina Roza hailing from Seattle, will keep the night going with their infectious rhythms and haunting, soulful melodies.
- Balkan Shmalkan will close out the evening with a traditional set that will make your grandma proud.

June 14th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, we invite you to join us at trout lake park.
 We will be hosting an open jam while we nurse our hangovers from 2 raucous nights in a row. completely free of course, we hope to see you there!
