Tinpot Events together with the Woodstove Concert Series are thrilled to present C.Diab at the Weird Church in Cumberland, BC on Saturday May 16th.
C. Diab is a Canadian bowed guitarist and multi-instrumentalist based in Vancouver, BC. Incorporating folk overtones and tape manipulations, Diab’s compositions have a quality that is rare and powerful, captured in swooping strokes with meditative grace. The Wire calls it "ambient music in the best sense - music for living, which can be both non-invasive and immersive…epic…totally fresh."
Having gained critical acclaim with the release of his debut album No Perfect Wave on London’s Injazero Records in 2016, Diab has subsequently released three albums, Exit Rumination (2018), White Whale (2020) and In Love & Fracture (2021). Diab’s LP Imerro (2024) – perhaps his most ambitious yet - explores new sonic realms and forms of instrumentation.
