Julian Hou is a Vancouver based artist and musician, and founder of Second Spring, a fluid and collaborative collective and record label. He released Grass Drama & Selected works in 2020. He has previously opened for Jennifer Castle, Holy Hum, Fortunato Durutti Marinetti, and Prince Nifty. His current music could be described as  neo-psychedelic folk 

Marco Munoz (266sx) b. Mexico City, made SOMOS TU ÚLTIMA ESPERANZA (Ascetic House) and rave of redemption (Perpetual Care), works of body-gurning synthesis with a wickedly unpredictable logic.

Modale is the ongoing improvisational collaboration of John Brennan and Justin Patterson, formed in Vancouver during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. Working with percussion, electronics, found objects, feedback, and acoustic instruments, their recordings emerge through extended improvisation and are shaped through editing, occupying the space between experimental music and contemporary art.

Conduit Gallery is humbly situated on the occupied and unceded ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwu7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. 

We are uninvited guests on what is now called the Downtown Eastside (DTES) of Vancouver. 

The DTES is a community that continues to be harmed by the workings of colonization and settler-imposed power structures, particularly the war on drugs/war on poverty. 

Conduit Gallery operates in this awareness, seeks to be respectful of the neighbourhood and street entrenched folks, and is invested in the ongoing work of resisting this violence and creating sustainable communities that benefit people that need support.
