Groove Kitchen Live at Oak Bay Rec

This hard-driving, party-hearty quintet is shaking up the clubs with its red-hot mix of funk, Latin, reggae and soul for dancing! Groove Kitchen is admired for its tight, rhythmically in-the-pocket sound. Dancers love the band’s mix of music, which ranges from interpretations of classics by Maceo Parker, Steven Wonder and James Brown to reinventions of contemporary tunes by Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake. Please note the Upstairs Lounge is a licensed reestaurant and bar, doors open at 6 pm for dinner service, the band starts playing at 7:30 pm. This is a dance, so be sure to wear your dancing shoes and come ready to have some fun!
