Bad Luck Pearl is an ambitious alternative/chamber rock band from Victoria, BC. Their music is filled with driving bass lines, grimy saxophones, and ethereal violin. Their blend of post-punk intensity and complex instrumental arrangements keeps you constantly on your toes. Bad Luck Pearl is emotionally charged and musically diverse, taking influence from bands like Radiohead, Black Country, New Road, and Jeff Buckley.   

palace oaks is a folkgaze project comprised of vancouver island-based singer-songwriters, multi-instrumentalists and interdisciplinary artists madeleine young and tamsen mckerley. with a songwriting style anchored in folk music and the indie rock of the ‘90s and ‘00s, they combine and flow between noisy, elemental electric guitar work with tenderly soft vocal harmonies, gentle fingerpicking and droning organs, all underneath a dreamy, psychedelic haze.
