About the show

Join us at Arthouse Cafe to hear folk-rock act Gabe Elias & The Many Moons on their Canada tour in promotion of Gabe's new album 'Many Long Goodbyes' - for fans of Neil Young and Andy Shauf. Additional performances by local folk songwriters Jamieson Mackay and Shep.

Gabe Elias is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Toronto, now based in Victoria, BC. Recording in basements and bedrooms across the city, he crafted his debut folk-rock LP 'Many Long Goodbyes' with the help of friends and a deep love for the DIY ethos. Gabe's music is both sweet and gritty, drifting between bitterness and joy — exploring longing, change, and connection.

Gabe released a self-produced LP last fall, and has played dozens of shows across BC and Ontario. His track 'Digging' hit 30k streams on Spotify and was featured on LA music journal 'Aquarium Drunkard'. Jamieson Mackay has shared a stage with Andy Shauf and Helena Deland.

If the event has not sold out online, there will be tickets available at the counter. Your ticket guarantees you a seat in the house but not necessarily a seat with a direct line of sight to the performers. We recommend coming early to snag a spot or if you need accommodations, like a guaranteed seat for accessibility reasons, to please email us at [email protected] at least 72 hours before the event. Ticket refunds or date transfers are not available.

IMPORTANT ACCESSIBILITY INFO
We provide gender-neutral washrooms. We have one wheelchair accessible washroom. There is no wheelchair ramp. There is a set of 8 stairs to get into the building (7 steps, small landing, and then an 8th step). Once inside, the whole cafe floor is flat, with the exception of our small room to the side, which is a small step down. We are licensed to provide alcohol, but serve a variety of non-alcoholic options. This event takes place on the traditional unceded, unsurrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin People.
